brief history: Raised by her grandmother, who belonged to a group of woman who made their combined living out of working in a small and well-organised crime ring. Eventually there was an accidental slip and people were caught — Sabine was questioned violently by police as a teenager, taken from her grandma and put up for adoption. She never got adopted (too 'old' and too quiet) but stayed on at the home and helped out there for a few years after turning 18, working for little pay, then fucked off. Started traveling. Got a good job as a reporter that could also travel. Met someone. Got a civil union. Got an annulment whoops (messyyyyy dyke drama). Still traveling and doing covert errands and jobs for Raiz but likes to come back and check on the house every so often
